The Kite Runner

I have finished reading it. I have already finished the Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. It only took me about a month to finally finish the book but it only took me about a few hours to read the entire book. It was such a good book I have no idea why I kept it for a month to read through 15 pages and finish the other 300 in a few pages. But I guess I didn’t expect the book to be so good and I just left it there. Which was really stupid because it was so good. The only thing I wished that happened before I started to read the book was someone to tell me about the apart when Assef did that to Hassan. Because I was so shocked that I had to put down the book to process the information.

Otherwise I loved that book but I really didn’t expect it to be so sad. Which makes me sound stupid again because on the back of my book kept saying tragic and heartbreaking but I was never the kind of person to read labels. Either way I will that I did get weepy especially after what I read to what the Taliban did to Hassan.  I was also very upset to what happen to Hassan’s son because that is just cruel irony there really it was very cruel. And if right now you have no idea what I’m talking about then go get the book and figure it out because you are missing out on a lot.

Reading this book actually made me so happy and so proud of myself because I haven’t finished a book in about 2 months. Which for me is like giving up chocolate or breathing! Sometimes I am even amazed to think that I went that long without a proper read since it wasn’t before 2 months I was finishing several books a week. But either way, I am so happy because I think this book has given me back my mojo because I got a new a book and I’m loving it . Can you guess what it is? I’ll tell you it’s called A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
